Scottish Egyptology⤴

from @ Education Scotland's Learning Blog

Small - NMS EgyptEgyptologist Margaret Maitland from National Museums Scotland will introduce a few of the fascinating Scots who have contributed to our understanding of ancient Egypt and share some of the wonderful items they brought back to Edinburgh, including objects from a princesses’ tomb and 5000+-year old animal figurines.

Learn about what it takes to be an Egyptologist, as well as why and how museums have collected ancient Egyptian objects. At the end, we’ll have a short Q&A session for your class’ most burning ancient Egypt questions.
