Treasury and Banking Branch – What we do: Treasury & Banking Branch comprises two teams. They are: the Cash Management, Income, and Payments team (of which this post is part) who are responsible for processing all receipts paid to the Scottish Government, making payments for the Scottish Government and associated departments, and forecasting cash payments and receipts to HM Treasury; and the Banking and Reconciliations team who are responsible for bank accounts and payroll reconciliations as well as overseeing the banking contracts for the Scottish Government and associated departments and carrying out the monthly drawdown for the Scottish Government and other bodies directly funded by the Scottish Consolidated Fund.
