Department: Various roles from across our businesses that could be Finance, Customer Services, HR, Investments, Sales, Events, Communications, Premises and Support Services

Location: Edinburgh

Duration: 6 months

Introduction and Background:

Our Edinburgh Guarantee school leaver intern programme is now into its third year. It’s been a huge success and we’ve been able to grow the numbers we take in every time. We’re now looking to recruit up to twenty recent school leavers for our next intake in April 2014.

The programme will give you a real job with a real salary because we pay the ‘Living Wage’. You’ll also be placed on a development programme that will tell you more about working in Financial Services while helping you develop invaluable skills for your future careers.

So get paid for 6 months’ work experience in a large organisation as part of an experienced team on a programme that is now established as one of the very best in the country.

At the end of your 6 months you’ll be supported to apply for jobs that build on the experience you gained.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Criteria Required:

We don’t need you to have any previous experience, but if you have an interest in working in the Financial Services Industry and have 4 Credit Standard Grades or equivalent (or above) then we are waiting to receive your application.

Additional Information:

Pay rate: £13,925 per annum

Hours of work: 35 hours per week

Start date: mid April 2014

Closing date: 2 February 2014
