Within this role in Careers Information Advice & Guidance (CIAG) Operations Directorate you will be supporting the fast paced and busy Operations team in your area. The CIAG team works in schools and Public Access Centres to provide information, advice and guidance to individuals to support them into the world of work. You will work in our Public Access Centre in Edinburgh providing customer service and general administrative duties. You will be supported to learn and develop, and your responsibilities will grow as you become more knowledge of the Operations Directorate, SDS and the services we provide to our customers. Day to day you will be welcoming customer who come into the centre and dealing with customer enquiries face to face, over the telephone or via email. You will also undertake a range of general administrative duties such as updating customer records.
