YouTrain have a fantastic opportunity within a highly reputable Scottish Law Firm based in the busy city centre of Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity for you to earn as you learn and gain a recognised qualification in Business Administration.
This is an entry level position as a Floating Secretary where you will need to be flexible as your time will be split between Business Administration tasks and Audio Typing work, gaining skills and experience as you go. You will be supported through your Business Administration Modern Apprenticeship by YouTrain whilst working. This training is fully funded for 16 –19 year olds and would be best suited to a school leaver.
This is a full time position Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Salary will be discussed at interview.
Your duties will include:
• Production of documents maximising the available software at hand.
• Maintaining diary appointments.
• Making travel and meeting arrangements.
• Dealing with basic queries and action as required.
• Answering phone calls and re-directing as necessary.
Applicants need to have fast and accurate typing skills and be prepared for a speed typing test .Previous work experience and a mature attitude towards their work are essential. A minimum of a higher grade pass in English coupled with the flexibility to work in different environments using your own initiative is key to the success within this role. In the future, there is a clear pathway to progression within this company.
