The Beauty Of A Second : Competition⤴

from @ digital learning foundation

Yes, this is a promotion for Mont Blanc, but it is such a nice idea and such a great excercise.

What do you think is beautiful?

Can you capture that beauty, or that idea of beauty, in only a second of video?

The 3rd and final round is open now: http://www.montblanconesecond.com (Deadline is the 13th of December.) It is Flash based site.

Competition copy :

Your challenge as a video artist is to "seize the moment". Everyone - professionals, amateurs, cell-phone camera enthusiasts -- is invited to capture a one-second long moving picture. The subject can be anything you consider as beautiful: a smile, a child's face, a flower, a piece of the world around you, as long as the video lasts only one second. Capture your second beauty now and get the chance to win a Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph and meet Wim Wenders. Watch the video to receive further information.

Don't forget: Every second counts.

You can submit up to 10 one-second long videos for this final round, or you can enter the competition without making a video, just create a playlist from the submitted videos and add music from the provided audio library.

"The Beauty of a Second" short-film contest is presented by the famous film director Wim Wenders.
